Partner's Groups
The Partner's Groups are for women who've been in relationship with a sex
addict. The pain of living with an addict can be overwhelming. In a group,
we are comforted to know there are others who can understand this pain.
We learn how to establish healthy boundaries and are encouraged to deal
with our own unhealthy behaviors. While working through the 12-Step program
(developed by Dr. Doug Weiss), many spouses of sex addicts have experienced
a deep intimacy with the Lord, as He has brought them comfort and healing.
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father
of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our
troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort
we ourselves have received from God." 2 Corinthians 1:2-4 (NIV)
We have groups in the Northland (near I-435 and 169 Hwy), Northern Johnson
County (Antioch and 95th St.), Southern Johnson County, and Kansas City, KS (I-435 & Leavenworth
Rd.); specific times and locations are kept confidential.
